Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Members of the association should comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to pest management. This includes pesticide usage, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Professional Conduct: Members should conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with clients, colleagues, and the public.
Environmental Responsibility: Pest management practices should aim to minimize environmental impact. This may involve using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques and employing environmentally friendly pest control methods whenever possible.
Customer Relations: Members should be honest and transparent with clients about the nature of the pest problem, recommended solutions, and costs involved. They should also provide clear information on any potential health or safety risks associated with pest control measures.
Safety and Health: Members should prioritize the safety of both clients and themselves when applying pest control treatments. Proper protective gear and safety measures should be followed.
